Oh boy, we have made it driving from California to Virginia! We couldn't be happier. The trip was long, mostly fun, and partly boring. We really wanted to plan a fun road trip but after a stressful move-out we just wanted to get home as soon as possible. We stuck to most of our itinerary, but we ended up cutting a few things out due to heat and the fact that we had our dog with us.
Over the next week I'll post about some of the highlights of our trip. We definitely had some high highs and low lows. I am just glad that we made it to the East Coast all in one piece along with our belongings. Hurray for home!!
